It was such a joy to create this beautiful invitation to Adelyn’s Baptism – custom designed specially for the adorable little guest of honor! The invitation is 2-sided, featuring her gorgeous photo, monogram and date of the momentous event on one side - and the details on the other.  I am very happy with how this elegant invitation came out – it is sophisticated and timeless.   You know that feeling of delight that you get when you open your mailbox and see that big white envelope that can only be a fabulous wedding invitation? Well multiple that excitement by 100 and you will get the feeling I get when I receive an invitation sample from a Design Service Only – Print Yourself client.   Kari’s destination wedding invitation has me craving a walk on the beach!  Kari and Jacob have chosen  Florida to say their vows and I had the joy of designing her beach-breezy wedding invitations. Kari wanted a look that was elegant and sophisticated with a touch of a casual beach feeling. She showed me photos of a beach with flowing white fabric, and I could immediately feel the sand on my feet and feel the breeze from the ocean. Here’s an extra special birthday invitation designed for an extra special little boy celebrating the big 3! When Suzanne told me that her son’s birthday party involved animals, I thought a Safari theme would be ideal! In creating the look I was inspired by all things travel – passports, boarding passes – and of course cute animals! Everything from the design of the invitation and illustrations to the writing was truly custom-created for the big event. It was printed on pure white semi gloss cardstock with a glossy coating on the photo side. I think the end result is absolutely adorable!  Does this sound like a fun party?    I was so excited when Erika told me that she was incorporating a CD as part of her Welcome Bags for her destination wedding.  It’s a personalized memorable gift that can be enjoyed many times over!   I created this custom designed label with their monogram & wedding date, following the look of her Save the Date cards that I designed!  This favor is a very special way to commemorate the happy occasion. When Carrie asked me to design Birthday invitations for Cailin’s first birthday, I was super excited….and knew it had to be extra special! When we first discussed themes, I thought what better for a summer birthday than a Luau theme! In creating the look I was inspired by my trip to Maui – the gorgeous flowers that were everywhere as well as the whole surf vibe I observed on the beaches. I knew her invitation had to be a blend of fresh modern tropical meets sophistication for this beautiful baby girl. I took full advantage of the bright fresh color scheme and then also added a bold graphic font to pull in the beach feel. It’s so fun & fresh. It was printed on pure white semi gloss cardstock with a glossy coating on the photo side. I think the end result is absolutely delightful! (– and did I mention the quick turnaround? I was thrilled to work with Emily from J & E Tent Rental in creating a new logo for her company. I was inspired by the beautiful photos on her site, and wanted to create a logo that communicated the same message. The final design communicates style & elegance that her tents can bring to an event: She has a huge selection of tents ranging from casual to elegant to accent any occasion.   I enjoy making beautiful things happen! I spend my 9-5 hours working for a corporation designing packaging and products that are sold at many mass retailers nationwide.
