A Star is Arriving Baby Shower Invitation


I was so happy to receive a message from the gorgeous Sadiyyah all the way from North Carolina. She saw the A Star is Arriving Baby Shower Invitation that I designed for Briana & Michelle on my blog and thought it would work perfectly with her shower theme.

It was a pleasure to get to know her and learn about the fabulous baby shower for her and her fiance. I illustrated caricatures that matched perfectly with Sadiyyah and her fiance’s likeness and captured her fashionista love of pink & purple style. The customized invitation is perfect for a glamorous diva!

I received the sweetest message from her when the design was complete: “Thank you again Desiree for the invitations. I'm pretty sure this won’t be the last time I need you to make something for me! I really appreciate everything you've done and I know they are going to come out looking wonderful!”

Thank you Sadiyyah! You make my job amazing! Have a wonderful day at your baby shower!

Live Fashion Illustration - Saks Fifth Ave Beachwood Beauty Gifting Sip & Shop

Last week I had a wonderful opportunity to partner with Saks Fifth Avenue for a special event, featuring Cleveland’s lifestyle and beauty blogger, Kimberly Morris of Modern Musings. She hosted a sip n shop party, showing her favorite beauty gift sets. I created live fashion illustrations of the guests while they enjoyed the party. I got to meet some amazing beauty-loving women at this fun event!  Live fashion illustration events are such an amazing element of my career! It is so much fun to interact with people and create something special. I love providing a unique service for clients.  I really appreciate this opportunity and I hope to work with them again soon! Safari Birthday Invitation

It was such a delight to meet Jennifer. Her adorable little boy is turning the big 1.   She loved the Safari invitations featured on my blog and wondered if she could order them in time for her little boy’s big birthday celebration. I am happy to say that it was designed, printed and arrived at her house all in just one week. These safari invitations were inspired by all things travel – passports, boarding passes – and of course cute animals! It was printed on pure white semi gloss cardstock with a glossy coating on the side that featured the little cutie pie’s photo. I think the end result is absolutely adorable, and will remain on display long after the party has ended! Thank you Jennifer!
