Group Gallery Exhibit - 52 Weeks 52 Works

I am so honored that my painting, “Immersed” has been selected to appear in the 2020 Edition of 52 Weeks 52 Works Desk Calendar published by AGC The Creative Advantage, and Exhibition at Baldwin Wallace University’s Fawick Art Gallery. The gallery exhibition is on view Nov 1 – Dec 6, 2019. The show is an amazing curation of Northeast Ohio’s fine art talent.

The opening reception was Friday, November 1. There was a great energy in the gallery, celebrating the inspiring curation. Thank you to Candice Champion and Richard Cihlar for including my painting as part of this exhibit.

"The show features an array of painting, sculpture, assemblage, ceramics, metalwork, jewelry, glass, fiber arts and photography by professional and student artists, constituting a visual testimony to the distinctive caliber of technical virtuosity and creative energy in the region. The exhibition anticipates AGC's publication of a high-quality desk calendar featuring a photograph of one work for each week and 22 additional works in a "notes" section. Candice Champion, a BW graduate in studio art, first initiated the calendar project, now an annual publication, in 2001. Her call for entries consistently elicits well over 100 submissions from which she selects the works for inclusion in the calendar and for exhibition at BW's Fawick Gallery. "52 Works/52 Weeks" is a veritable celebration of the visual arts in Northeast Ohio."

I was so honored to see “Immersed” featured on the cover of the official event program! It is such a great keepsake featuring all of the artists work from the show.

Please be sure to visit the show, Regular Gallery Hours are Monday-Friday, 2-5 p.m.

She became a teenager during the pandemic. I knew I had to visually document this moment in time for her. It's a blend of emotions, and I hope the viewer sees when they look at it.   "When" is my self portrait during the pandemic . It started very dark but then I wanted to lighten it up for hope for

Yo Gabba Gabba CD labels

Hi everyone! It’s been awhile since my last post. I’ve been very busy with work, but I do have a couple new designs to show today. I recently met Stephanie and Tiffany who have adorable little boys celebrating big birthdays. My Yo Gabba Gabba party favor CD labels worked perfectly with their themes. I was happy to create these scenes of MC and Yoshy dancing with her favorite TV show characters. It is so adorable and is sure to be enjoyed by family & friends many times over! Happy Birthday to these very cool boys!
