Earlier this fall I spent a wonderful afternoon with an adorable family. It was such a joy to photograph them again this year. Here are some of my favorites from our session. A big Thanks to Julie & Mark for inviting me to capture your special family moments!   

I’m so excited to share this Birthday Party email blast for Armana’s 35 th birthday getaway to Las Vegas! This is how a diva announces her birthday party. The caricature was created in her likeness to be fun & sassy, ready for a night of dancing. The invitation sets the tone for the fun & special weekend with her friends. Thanks Armana – have a great birthday and fabulous trip!

  This new invitation is quite special…being that it was designed for my good friend in celebration of her parent’s 40th wedding anniversary. She and her brother planned a fabulous SURPRISE party to celebrate this special occasion!   The invitation was inspired by the colors of their wedding, with a splash of ruby red to signify 40 wonderful years. The daisies from her mom’s bridal bouquet inspired the graphic pattern overlay. The overall look is so special and elegant. I adore the playful whimsical wedding getaway car featured on the back of the card. It’s the perfect way to set the tone for the huge party filled with family and friends.   I continued the invitation visuals on her photo table numbers. Each feature an amazing milestone year for the lovely couple and a photo. These are such a wonderful idea that my friend had to really take the party room on a tour down memory lane. Here is a wedding you are sure to be inspired by! Filled with so many personal touches, Cortney and Adam had a beautiful day in a picturesque setting. To continue the custom silver and navy lace theme of her wedding invitations, I was also asked to design programs, whimsical signs, personalized table numbers, and charming favor labels. Everything came together just beautifully and I am so very proud to be a part of this wedding! Adorable ceremony programs set the tone for the wonderful day. I loved the playful typography and how it paired with the traditional elements of the invitation. She had framed the engagement photos that I shot on a lovely table with a custom designed “Love story” sign, as well as a Social sign, encouraging guests to post photos of the big day with their own personal hashtag. Whimsical signs continued in the restroom, and the bar to showcase signature drinks, and finally at the favor table at the end of the night.

I was thrilled to hear that Sarah loved my sporty puppy baby shower invitation, inspired by the the Lambs & Ivy Bow Wow nursery collection, and thought it would be perfect for her baby shower. I illustrated a diva caricature of the beautiful blonde mom-to-be in her fabulous hot pink shoes. This is how a diva does sports! I love that this invitation remains feminine, while you still clearly understand that she is having a little boy. The theme and fonts are so fun & playful - setting the tone for an outstanding shower!     It was a pleasure to create this customized invitation for Sarah.   Elegant & Beautiful - these words describe this couple and their Wedding Invitations.   I had the pleasure of custom designing this Wedding Invitation for Cortney and Adam, a darling couple tying the knot this August!   You may remember them from the Engagement photos I took last autum. Cortney was a delight to work with during the design process - she had fabulous & creative ideas   on her wedding colors and her timeless style.   Rich navy and silver made for a gorgeous combination. I think this invitation is a great reflection of how beautiful their wedding will be. This was printed on pure white semi-gloss cardstock, which provides a crisp clean backdrop to the elegant typography and illustrated lace detailing.   I simply L-O-V-E. It! Thank you Cortney and Adam !

  I am a big fan of the chalkboard trend and was thrilled to create this fun & whimsical email blast invitation for Cortney’s Co-Ed Bridal Shower. I loved experimenting was the typography and creating a chalkboard look. I think the end result is warm and inviting!   It was a pleasure to create this customized invitation for Cortney and her hostess. Thank you so much and I hope you have a fabulous shower!

  I’m really excited to show this fun & fabulous new Barbie Birthday Invitation! It was custom designed for my little diva Barbie girl. I love the bright gorgeous colors and graphic prints. I was able to place her image into the invitation so she looks like she there in the Barbie World!   On the back I used the Barbie image holding my daughter’s artwork. It was great to use her art to add a personal touch to the invitation. I hope you love this as much as we do! I’m happy to offer this as a new party invitation design.

   Email blasts are a quick and easy way to invite guests to a special occasion, when under a short time frame. Although I love a printed invitation for more formal affairs, they are perfect for casual get-togethers like Girls Nights out, Bachelorette Parties, Cook-outs, and more.    I was happy to create this fabulous diva Bachelorette Party invitation for Cortney’s Bachelorette Bash! I illustrated a diva caricature of the bride to be and her girls in a convertible on their way to a fun night out.      It was a pleasure to create this customized invitation for Cortney and her friends. I was thrilled to hear from the wonderful Briana from Arkansas recently. I designed her Baby Shower Invitations, and little CJ’s first Birthday Invitations. I can’t believe how quickly time flies! The little man is turning 2 and nothing but an Elmo party will do!  Briana needed a birthday invitation to set the tone for this fun day. I was very excited with all the possibilities! First of all Sesame Street had to be renamed as CJ’s street for the day! Then there’s adorable little CJ in his sunglasses playing with Elmo! What could be more fun! I designed this custom invitation for the big event. It was printed on pure white semi gloss cardstock. I think the end result is absolutely adorable!  There is no bigger compliment than a return client. I was so happy to work with Briana again. Happy Birthday to CJ!

I just had the pleasuring of meeting Birgitta who has two little boys celebrating big birthdays soon. My Yo Gabba Gabba party favor CD labels worked perfectly with Ryan’s party theme. Nicholas was having a Spiderman birthday and Birgitta just wasn’t thrilled with the themed trinkets they sell for birthday favors and asked if I could design a Spiderman CD label. I was happy to create this scene for her.  Her creative little boy came up with the wording, and I think it turned out fantastic! Thank you Birgitta & happy Birthday Ryan & Nicholas!

I was thrilled to hear from the Ana from NY recently. You may remember her from my Safari Birthday Invitations post. Well now her little boy is turning the big 2! His birthday is all things Dr Seuss – One Fish, Two Fish, Horton Hears a Who, Cat in the Hat, the Lorax – and she needed a birthday invitation to set the tone for this fun day. I was beyond thrilled with all the possibilities! I designed this custom invitation for the big event. It was printed on pure white semi gloss cardstock. I think the end result is absolutely adorable!  There is no bigger compliment than a return client. I was so happy to work with Ana again. Happy Birthday to Michael Antonio!

Happy New Year & Happy Wedding planning season!! I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful couple in the fall. I loved her idea for a Wedding Save the Date postcard to showcase the lovely photos, and set the tone for their upcoming nuptials. It’s a chic, modern way to give advance notice of their big day. This personalized Wedding Save the Date shares their wedding details in style (like only a diva could!) Printed on luxurious semi-gloss card paper. Congrats & Thank you to Cortney & Adam!
